Natchez-Adams County and the Miss-Lou are served by two modern hospitals.

Natchez Community Hospital, which is a public entity owned by Health Management Associates, Inc. Natchez Regional Medical Center is owned by the citizens of Adams County. Between the two hospitals, the public is offered standard Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Open Air MRI, problem Wound and Hyberbaric Medicine, Stereotatic Breast Biopsy, 24 hour physician-staffed Emergency Department, a Trauma Center, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, a Rehabilitation Center, Sleep Lab, Dialysis, Cardiac Rehabilitation, complete obstetrical and women's services as well as Neonatal Intensive Care.

The Senior Friends Five-O Program offered by Natchez Community Hospital is the most well known senior program in the area. The program offers monthly meetings, weekly health screenings and other information for seniors to live a healthier and happy life. 

Approximately 100 licensed medical professionals work in the area, including the specialties of anesthesiology, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, ear/nose/throat, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pathology, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, radiology, and urology.

Natchez Community Hospital and Natchez Regional Medical Center offer regular educational seminars on a variety of topics of particular interest to retirees.

The county is also served by two personal care homes, three nursing homes, four home health agencies, three hospice agencies, a Medical Center including ambulatory surgery, digital imaging, sports medicine, and physical therapy. 

The Natchez Senior Center offers a full sized indoor swimming pool that is opened year round.
